I have decided I am going to get the Rocky Road Outfitters OME Lift kit but undecided if I want the medium or heavy duty springs.
Talking to them, and they have great customer service btw, they said the Heavy duty springs are for the bull bar and winch that comes in around 225 lbs I believe.
I've ordered the Rock Lizard convertible bumper which is apparently around 75 lbs and I also got the winch guard but am not sure how much it weighs - tho I would guess not that much.
I am going with the Engo E9000S winch which will add another 60 lbs -
so I am looking around 140 lbs......which puts me in the middle.

Rocky road said I could go either way. With the Medium I would get a nice cushy ride and with the heavy duty, more of a sport car like ride.

I am leaning towards the Medium duty because while I like a sport car ride, I prefer it in an actual sports car. My wife has a Kia Sorento, which has a sports car like ride and my son has a GMC Acadia which is a soft smooth ride - between those 2, being an old man, I prefer the soft smooth ride of the Acadia.
Would it make a difference in off road capability ? Longevity of the suspension components ?
I am obviously new to this so any info appreciated.

Not to be a jerk, but RRO knows nothing on how to sit one up properly.
The OME HDs are made for aftermarket bumpers and CRDs, even the ARB/OME catalog states this. Now with that said I ran a ARB on the front of mine with the OME HD ( 927s) and they lasted a long time( 100,000 miles with only needing to give them about 3/8 on an inch extra boost over that time)
BUT................I wasn't running a winch. I also ran the OME 790s with the same bumper and it rode great, with a winch it would of been a very good ride, not soft, but good ride over all
With the mediums ( OME926s ) they would be too soft IMO since they are only rated at 375 lb -vs- the 927s at 400 lb.
Personally if I was doing it I'd run the 790s, but if you want a softer ride then the 927s for sure, the 926s wouldn't even be in the mix for consideration.
Also if going with the RRO, then make sure you upgrade the rear springs and rear shocks to OME, WAY better than their own house brand.
You do know cost wise it cheaper from other places for the same products and lift in the end ........
