Yesterday I went to the Racino and played poker and wasn't there more than 5 minutes and BAM....an ordered royal flush in clubs. I was stunned. The machine started dinging and banging and spat out a voucher for $1,000. Of course since it was over $600 they gave me a "W2-G statement-for gambling winnings". On the form it says federal tax=25% and state=6.85% .............So If I subtract out the taxes I will have to pay eventually that leaves me with $681.50.......I could save it and put it towards my school taxes which will be due in September or........

I could get something for the KJ. I was thinking rock rails and a diff guard??? I do go off road only mild to moderate and try to be careful. I am not lifted so I was thinking that would make rock rails and a diff guard more important? Would it?? I don't know? Ideas or opinions?

Why not get a mild 1.5in lift? You could get the 1.5in daystar spacer lift and maybe have enough left to get some rocker rails.

If it were me, I'd put my winnings toward some OME struts and shocks... it's not that much more than your winnings after taxes, and then you'd have a full-out suspension lift and a better ride.

Wow go get the Rusty Lift kit and boom your done. Or, jump on the idea you mentioned. If you get a lift you are gonna need bigger tires :)

I hate to be the wet blanket here but I'd save it for school.

Take care of what is important first, then treat yourself (or your Jeep) to something nice.

Yeah, or wait untill you are married then your wife will tell you to stop buying stuff you don't need. Or at least that's what she thinksneedencouragement.g:

:D Yah...mine seems to think painting the house and remodeling is more important.

I am not married, but I have a GF that can tell me what to do, haha........but I took her out for a prime rib dinner and then I bought some ammo (just blew the ammo away at the range). I didn't want to blow the rest of it and not have anything to show for it.

Anyway, I'm still thinking about jeep mods. I am in no hurry to blow it. It is not really that much money as far as jeep mods go. I mean it would take a lot more than that to really mod a jeep.

The mild Daystar lift and some skid plates (if you don't have them) would be good for mild wheeling. With the mild lift, stock tires won't look bad and the skid plates will protect vital Jeep organs.

Yeah! but how am I gonna get her to believe that= beg?[-o<

I usualy sneek around on Ebay and then surprise her at the right moment with my findings. :D

Back on topic: First thing I would buy ( if I had $650 ) is an ARB front bumper...or this:

I know, I know, doesn't do much but: ow boy, lot's of (bling)

Or:

and ( well I have these already )

OW YOU'VE GOT AN '05 SORRY

Then maybe you'll like this, I find it very usefull:

Tony, I like that bumper but too much chrome for me. Mine is black with the chrome grill so if I was going to put something like that on I would need to paint it black. But that won't fit mine anyway as you said. It looks better on the red jeep though, with no chrome grill behind it.
