Rust hole in the floor. 2006 Liberty.

I have a 2006 CRD with some rust in the floor. There is a baseball sized hole under the drivers floor.
I don’t see any aftermarket floor pans available.
Any suggestions on repair?
Interested in hearing both how to do it right…. And also so stop gap ideas that will limit damage.
Luckily I have a basic rig with rubber floor mats!

The only real option is to cut out the rust and weld fresh steel in, check the sills too. They are structural.

you could also cut the rust out and lay down some fiberglass cloth.

Can’t help on the floor pans…. Maybe cut one out from a junkyard?

But if you don’t have a welder, I would cut out all the rust, and cut the patch a few inches bigger than the hole. Then just lay it down with panel adhesive.

Isn't that what everyone does with old license plates?

On two of my old Bob Tail Broncos I just used stop signs, worked great, bent , bolted them down after painting floor with black roof cement
One of my dune buggys had large turn signs as floors , Highway Patrol laughed when they inspected it
