I bet we could drop a 5.7 into a KJ.... \:D/ :-k
Good luck with that. Gonna cost a good amount of $$$$.$$ It won't even fit in a Dakota...

The WK interior isn't all that special. I think it looks kinda odd myself. The new Overland model's interior looks way better.

Is this an '06 or '07?

You know who remind me of sometimes? If you (or anybody on here) have ever seen the MADTV skit with "Debbie Downer" in it...

Its a 06. It also has the same interior as the overland except the wood on the top of the steering wheel and the "Overland" on the back of the seats. \:D/

Their still not back.. Ill get pics of the inside tomorrow. O:)

I just ordered the weather-Tech floor mats for it too.

Yup, we now have 4 jeeps grogiefrog. \:D/ I really want to get a pic of them beside each other.. O:)

I'm a little surprised to see a non-digital climate control... :-s

Still looks really good though! So they got rid of the Toyota thing?

The engine is really stuffed into that thing. Its hard to see anything in there. Nothing like looking at the libbys engine, thats for sure.

One thing that I found out that is just awesome, the engine cooling fan is powered by the power steering pump! Its hydraulic! \:D/ Ive never heard of this, but it saves around 19hp Ive been told. Cools better than an electric fan or engine driven fan also.. O:)

Thats really nice. A friend of mine has the GC SRT, but its all black inside, which is a nightmare to keep clean IMO.

I find my '06 hard to keep clean. I've cleaned it more than I cleaned my '04...

Thanks to the lighter gray, some seat covers would be great..... (yes... already).

Anyway... yes, the wood on the steering wheel sure makes that look way better. I like the taupe/beige/whichever... lightens the interior up.

Oh, you guys know what this means? jeepjeepster now has a little bit of Detroit near him. lol3.gif

I can see how they made lifts for these in a hurry. Look how long the cv shafts are:

Since it has the hydraulic fan, it has one heck of a Power steering cooler:

I thought it was the ****** cooler at first, but come to find out it wasnt..

I found some ****** lines coming up to the front, but ive not figured out where they go yet. I think they actually go through the intake. I can see how that would cool them, but then it would heat the air up coming into the engine. :-s

****** lines:

This is the two ****** lines going somewhere:

My HEMI and KJ, it's a real Beauty and the Beast. The Dodge HEMI engine shroud looks exactly the same, just with the ram head instead of the Jeep logo. No surprise there. I may let my lady drive the KJ as her daily driver, but these are all my toys and she knows it.

Nice rig, but I'd not want to gas it up! =)

Jeep on the pricey side should have had digital climate... wood wheel.. navigation... for the price.. I won't even ask the price.. I'm sure it's mid 30 to 40.

WOOD WHEEL HAHA...I know what you mean though. I just pictured an actual wood wheel, old school looking.

titan, nice Hemi Charger! (bowdown)

Notice they're both Midnight Blue, and not by accident. I sought out a Midnight Blue R/T at all costs and finally found one with all the options I wanted after several months and many states. Had to go back and do it all over again to get a matching Liberty Limited :)

Welllll, since we are already off topic, then permit me some more egregious HEMI Charger flaunting ;) There's one picture in there of that damned HEMI engine shroud they love putting on to cover up the hideous mess of wires underneath (and charge about 200 for included in the MSRP). They did an awful job keeping the 5.7L HEMI clean like the 6.1L. The 6.1L also has covers to cover it all up, too. Either way, I took that thing off within hours of bringing it home. Also had the hood struts ready to put on since they also decided to eliminate those from all but the SRT8 Charger prior to production, though the mounting nipples are still there.

Grogie, I don't know how close to Indy you are, but keep an eye out around Western Indianapolis for my KJ, it's on a nice long sabbatical with the woman while she is on business out there. I don't think you will find too many Midnight Blue Limiteds with VA plates around there driven by a hot blonde. ;)
