I just plugged it in and pushed the wire in between the dash and trim. I did this temporarily until I could figure where to put it. It is still there...haha

Forgot to answer your question on the price. $159.99 is a good price. I think I paid around the same for mine about 2 years ago maybe. I havn't seen them cheaper.

I have mine on a mount on the windshield right next to my gps. There's got to be a way to run it up that seam by the center console bezel and center vents, but I'm not sure if I feel comfortable gluing it there.

I've run wires up through those windshield vents if thats what you're talking about. I ran my wires behind my cd player to do it for my GPS and radar detector.

You mean the defogger vents? Where do you enter the vents from below? Is there an easy way to get into the vent system?
