Here's how I did it. You need:
a pair of wire cutters
a Phillips screwdriver
a ratchet set (various sized bits)
a Torx star head Bit (size T50 I think?)
Hog rings and Hog Ring Pliers or gun.
What year is it? On my 05 with cloth they aren't left/right specific at all but I have noticed that there are different versions of seats from year to year.
The cushions are a pain to get off but not impossible. You have to take the whole seat out [4-6 bolts depending on if you remove at the floor or the slide rails] and 1 Torx head bolt holding the seat-belt to the seat.
Then remove the plastic molding on either side [7-8 Phillips screws], remove the cushion from the frame [4 bolts], there's a hole cut in the cover on either side with a cable that runs through it. Unless you feel comfortable disconnecting the cable (not sure what it’s for), you have to cut the cover and the J clip holding it to the cushion frame (I recommend cutting the clip in half so you can put the cover back on around the cable instead of putting the cable through the cover).
Remove the front and back J clips, fold up the 4 sides of the cover then cut the hog rings holding the cover to the foam with a pair wire cutters.
Then to put it back together do it all in reverse.
