Seat cover swap?

I've got a 2004 KJ and the front seats have some wear on the outer edge of the seat lowers. It's from getting in and out all the time. Has anyone swapped out the lower seat covers, meaning side for side, to wear a little on the other edge? Are the seat lower covers the same? Surely someone has already tried this... Thx

Well finally got around to trying this a couple weeks ago... and yes the seat backs and base are the same covers, driver's side and passenger side. So I swapped them out and with the doors open looking in they appear to have no wear on the outside edges. I have the cloth interior on a KJ Sport.

Thanks for the update, I planned on doing this very same thing on my seats. My passenger side is fine, but the driver's outer corner is worn through. I figured the center console will help hide the hole once it's moved, at least better than it is now.
