Sorry to jump right in with a question, but I can't find any help with the search function.
My drivers seat heater switch just blinks when it is swtiched on, but it does not turn on the heater. Has anyone encountered this? If so, what is the problem?
thanks for any help.

Have you checked for a blown fuse?

No. That seems almost too simple. The light on the control switch is blinking, and the passenger side heater works properly. Never thought about the heater itself being on a separate fuse.
Thanks for stating the obvious, I'll check it.

Yes check the fuses first.
What year model is your KJ?
I have the circuit diagrams and a theory of operations/fault finding guide for the 2002 KJ.....it basically gives a procedure of measuring and testing the seperate switches for drivers side and passenger side so there may be a problem with the actual switch being faulty.:freak3:

Checked the fuses, they are good. I'm working on a 2003 Limited. Passenger side heater is working.

I am about to run out of internet time.....I will try to get you the diagrams you need....in the meantime I would suggest you try swapping over the left and right switches:freak3:
