Shocks

Looking to match up shocks to go with EMU 927/948 springs. If I go with EMU do I use EMU Nitrogen shocks or Sport shocks, if I go with Bilstein do I use B6 or B8. Have been reading old posts until my eyes bleed and have seen a lot of part #'s that are no longer available. Any help is greatly appreciated !

With OME springs you use stock front shocks either OME or Bilsteins
For the rear either 132L OMEs available from www.boulderbars.com or I am running the 24-185660 Bilsteins on one of mine with 2.5 inches of lift

Bought the last Franken lift kit for gas KJs from Boulder Bars on Friday. Kit is on the way!

Frankenlift,......you do know it will sit higher in the front than rear , right when new

Had the Frankenlift installed yesterday, very pleased with how it turned out, had alignment done this morning! Now for some wheels and tire!

Did you need the JBA upper a-arms?

At that height keep a very close watch on the UBJs since you did not get JBA UCAs
you have them maxed out pretty much
also measure middle of wheel to bottom of flare in front on level ground

Are the springs hitting the UCA's?
I am also courious about your current lift measurements.

No they are not, I can fit most of my hand in between UCA and the spring

When sitting level , yes but off camber, hitting bumps etc how much

plus still waiting on the measurements

Took measurement today was 22.5 inches from center of wheel to bottom of flare.

Hi Tom, my Jeep has come along way and I'm chuffed with the results, what I'm having trouble with is finding a programmer or powerchip etc. For a 2003 3.7 with 42 rle trans. Do you know of anything or anyway to address timing advance shift points etc.

Nothing that really works
most all programmers do not last , they will adjust shifting just a bit but that is all
Unless you send the computer to a company that can reprogram it

Yeah that's what I figured. Such a nice vehicle but not supported by any of the programmers etc. Wish I knew before I bought it would have looked for manual dorsal. So there is nothing that can be done, I don't mind spending a bit on any solution even complete drive line swap like LS conversion etc.
