I have one on my 06 Renegade. Came with it. I don't think I would pay the astronomical prices they charge for one. They look pretty cool, but (on mine) it reflects off the hood so bad it is easier to see without them on than with them. The two lights on the bumper are sweet and do a phenomenal job of throwing off some light. I use them frequently, and never use my lightbar lights.

Can't use them on the road
nor more than likely the 6 inch PIAAs either unless you have them pointed down to the road right in front of you pretty much

Bottom line is, if you like them, do what you gotta do to get'em.
I think they'll make your Jeep look good.

Here's some night pics of the lights, and the beam they put out.

I installed one a few months ago. Love it. It is for off road only. I paid $400 on eBay from a guy that bought it brand new and never installed it. It came with ALL the wiring harnesses, relay, switch, led bulb, covers, bolts and everything. A lot of people complain about reflection off the hood but you have to adjust the lights up. I also leave the plastic covers in the cargo area for inspections. I often park in manhattan when I'm at the office and they can be easily stolen.

I dont think an officer would give you a hard time if you used them like high beams on country roads. It surely cant be worse than those block heads with the bright blue and green lights which are illegal because of their color anyway.

I like how you trimmed your bumper! However if I could find a light bar for cheap I would run one..

I've know other Jeep owners with roof mounted lights to paint their hoods a flat black to lessen the glare from the lights.

Myself I have a pair of Hella 700FF's mounted firmly to my front clip;

With 55W bulbs and a low position they are street legal here in NB, Canada.
I can see the moose/deer/coyotes miles down the road.
