Should I push for spring replacements if the powdercoating is slightly damaged?

I never bought springs before, and mine arrived from Ironman4x4 slightly damaged. Should I push for replacements, or will they be getting damaged soon enough anyways?

I wouldn’t worry about it. They will look like this in a few years.

These were once red JBA springs. The important thing is they are still great functional springs.

By the time some people get them on they have a few scratches anyways

I would complain and maybe they will refund a little money.

You could try, but nothing but frustration will come of it
besides it is just the way they were shipped and scuffed them some

Is the nature of the beast. Back in my SoCal Baja Bug days we used to dip Them in plastkote. I don’t recommend that any where there is water or salt, as the coating loosens /splits with age and makes wonderful corrosion pockets.

I’ve read of folks having them coated with poly paints too, but eventually they look like what is pictured above.
