UPDATE 2025: HAPPY NEW YEAR fellow jeepkj'ers

As some of you will know the Mopar (0VU01524AC) Genuine OEM Mopar for KJ Jeeps has been on back-order for over a year in North America and it's now impossible to buy from the dealerships. No-one knows why, maybe Stellantis do not want to make it anymore, but it is what it is!
In fact it is getting harder and harder getting most MOPAR parts in NA for these awesome machines
Most dealerships were given a memo from Head-office to use Napa gold as a substitute, but take my word for it, it's not good!

What's a better or as good as substitute do you think?

This is what I've always used. It's Go5, just what our Libbys came with.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Does it look like a choice between Prestone or Zerex?
As we cannot buy "Comma Xstream G05" in America.

Yellowish, I sluced out whatever was in it before with the hose and refilled with 50/50 distilled water and HOAT.

The hell with that OEM stuff - been using Prestone since the 60's - Zero problems.

Check this out:

https://prestone.com/product/prime-all-vehicle/

"Prime antifreeze+coolant (concentrate) is for all vehicles; all makes, models, years & fluid colors. The extended life formula is safe for use with all types of metals & rubbers; including aluminum. Prestone Prime will guard against temperature extremes and the effects of rust, corrosion and premature water pump failure.

  • Formulated to work with All Vehicles. Universally works with all fluid colors; all OAT, POAT, HOAT & IAT.
  • 5-year/150,000-mile Extended Life Formula.
  • Meets or exceeds ASTM D3306 & D4985 for corrosion protection.
**Protects your car or light duty truck for up to 5 years or 150,000 miles (240,000 km) when flushed and filled according to instructions."

Flush the radiator first, drain, then mix full Prestone with distilled water 50/50 - forget all the other hype, Prestone has been around since the 20's.

HEADS UP JEEP KJ OWNERS!!!

MOPAR has changed the antifreeze/coolant, AGAIN!

Yes, just recently the coolant for Jeep KJ vehicles has changed, and the new part# is: 0VU01524AD (Concentrate ~ NOT 50/50)
And..............................it's color is PINK!

Yes, it's pink!

So, now you can no longer get the orange coolant, (Mopar 0VU01524AC Concentrate ~ NOT 50/50) you'll have to buy this.
PLUS: You may have to completely flush out the old orange coolant and replace it with this coolant instead, because they DO NOT MIX and WILL cause gelling in the coolant system.
It must be Carlos Tavares's little farewell gift to the JeepKJ community!

If you're not riding on BoSCH brake rotors, you're not safe in a Jeep, after all look at the back of your key fob....The vehicle was made by Daimler (Benz)/Chrysler.
Bosch (Non-rust) coated rotors and Dustless Ceramic pads love stopping on a dime and are much better than raybestos rotors. (IMHO)
