I don't know if our KJ will ever get a solid-axle, but I picked up a '79 fullsize Bronco rolling chassis just in case... :gr_grin:
I got a couple cheap XJ diffs too, but looking like too narrow... and not especially strong. JK diffs might be a good route though.
In any case, the main fabrication obstacle (IMO) is choosing and mounting a suitable steering box.
