I have a 2011 Liberty and for the life of me I can not replace the spark plugs.

In thee attached pic is the coil with a bolt not stud and nut. I pull on the bolt and it ain't coming.

Suggestions.

In other words the KK is a bit different than the KJ, in the way it is one bolt going all the way though the coil pack.
I assume you have used a socket and unscrewed it completely, counter clockwise, and still wont pull up. Arrow in Red bolt..

Just make sure it truly is full unscrewed.
You could try some PB Blaster down the bolt and then use locking pliers to really pull it up.
Also Normally I remove the electrical connection , before removing the coil pack.

i don't understand what's wrong.
Just unscrew the bolt out, disconnect the connector and pull the coil out.

Is there something else I'm missing?

Unscrew bolt,it will not fully come out,and pull like hell.

I was gonna say the same thing. The bolt is integral to the coil (probably designed that way so the bolt can't be dropped down into the cylinder...) so it just needs to be loose. Grab the top of the coil and tug up till you feel it getting looser.

A neighbor has a Dodge/Ram pickup with the same coil packs so I've experienced this issue before.

Do you make similar comments when in line with some particularly odoriferous individual in a checkout lane? :emotions34:
