Spark Plugs

I've always used Bosch Platinums in all my vehicles when it came time to replace the OEMs. IMO you can't go wrong with these plugs. They last a while and feel like they give a strong consistent spark. I don't bother with the +2, +3, or +4 gimmicky stuff. Go with the regular old tried and true Platinums.

Just changed my plugs this past Saturday. I'd been putting it off, 45k on the original plugs. Replaced with Autolite single platinums (AP3923). They were 4.17 per pair at Wal-mart with a mail-in rebate of a dollar per plug so that came out to about 6.51 total, not bad. I could tell a HUGE difference as soon as I fired her up with the new plugs. It was sounding a little rough at idle and the tach would fluctuate a little before. Now it's smooth as silk and the tach is steady. I snapped a couple of pics of the burnt up NGKs. Sorry, I didn't think to take any pics while I was changing them for the other "how do I install plugs thread".

Sadly, that's exactly how my NGKs looked at 20k miles. My sister's looked better than mine after 30k.
