Spark Plugs

Good Morning Everyone,

It's me again. I am needing to change the spark plugs in my 07 KJ as part of the 60K service. I am thinking of just putting in OEM plugs from the dealer. I decided though to get some advice from other KJ owners before doing this to see if anyone has any better suggestions for spark plugs. Does anyone use the E3 Diamond Fire plugs? If so, how are they? Open to all brands of plugs.

^^....those will work.

I have been using the OEM NGK copper core ones with no problems. Don't recall the number but it is on the emissions sticker on the radiator support when you open the hood. Been getting them at NAPA for about $18 or so.

i use the oem ngk copper. part # above or on the emissions sticker. i get them at advance auto for 14.39 out the door.

I actually need to replace my plugs. This thread was a good reminder. I still got my Factory plugs on the KJ. 43K on them.
I'll be running to Advance Auto this weekend.

Other than check the wiring for damage and checking the gaping of the new plugs before installing. Is there anything I should watch for when replacing them on the KJ?

Make sure you buy a small tube of dielectric grease and put it in the tip of the coil before putting it back together.
