Spray on Bed Liner ??????

Who has used which one and how does it look and last ?
Rust-Oleum
Rust-Oleum Pro
Duplicolor

Painting my rear bumper and front Matrix Brush Guard with it so want it to last and look half decent
any ideas, pros/cons etc

I used the Dupli-color Bed Armour aerosol cans when I built my rockers about 2 years ago. Never touched up, and hardly washed. I have washed with a pressure washer though a few times. I scuffed the paint with a red Scotchbrite, then sprayed 3-5 coats till covered. This is the thread I did when I made them. Shows everything I did. It has started!! And here's a couple pics I just took, sorry it's dark out. By the way. that's dirt, not chips. There are NO chips in it. There is some rust poping through though were it was just can primer then bed liner. Where there was base/clear, there is no new rust forming.

I’ve used the Duplicolor as well on my bull bar and some parts underneath and it looks nice. Has the slight bedliner texture and I never noticed it fade from sunlight/not washing every week. Very consistent spray pattern also.
However if you want it to be durable and withstand brushing against stuff/rocks and whatnot then I’d get the roll-on kind.
May or may not be stronger material being that it’s not thinned down in order to be sprayed

FYI, the bed armour roll on is A LOT rougher in the texture.

Another vote on the duplicolor, have used it all over on skid plates, lower panels on the body, etc. Works well.

The worst was the spray on. It would easily flake off when stressed.
The best was the roll on type. However it has bits of whatever in it to help aid in traction or something.

True. But in my situation, the rust is coming through due to rust already being there and as far as the rockers, I just used an aerosol primer then the bed armour. If the primer was sealed with a top coat, there would be less chance of the rust forming and coming through.

That’s understandable. I’m still confident the spray can versions will scratch and flake easier then you think. Been there done that.

Only one I've found that holds up is Herculiner. It's the only one that's help up on my rock rails for using them as a step and for salt protection. With Duplicolor I had to grind and paint every spring since the salt and sand they use here took them down to bare metal. I haven't had to repaint them since using Herculiner. It looks like Line-X, little more grit than Duplicolor.

Well we shall see which way I go, rear bumper has been sanded down,
treated with 2 coats of Kano EXRUST ( great product )
then 3 good coats of self etching primer
next deciding which one to use
starting on the Matix brush guard today that was powder coated ( hate that stuff )
Having had the ARB bumper, one set of rockrails and this brush guard powder coated all of course professionally would never have it done on anything
