The SRS and seatbelt lights are illuminated on my 2005 Liberty. Codes 0044 front driver sensor short to ground and 0048 front driver sensor short to battery. So far...check the wires and found nothing. Replace driver seat belt but not the seat belt latch. Does anyone have a direct reference to which sensor might be having issues? Code reader will not erase codes, so it must be an active fault. Any ideas other than replace the seatbelt latch? Trying to troubleshoot the problem.
