Was out getting ice cream last night and saw an '02 Liberty at a Jeep service department across the street.

Was a Limited model with a nice ARB bumper and winch up front - had Moabs all around too but something didn't look quite right. I got nosey and went over to take a look and saw that he had a front tire blowout at speed and destroyed the fender flare and part of the fender on the driver's side.

But it gave me a good look at Daystar spacer lift he used to prop it up. For any of you considering a spacer lift and questioning if the front springs will bind - here's your evidence. Imagine this Jeep going over just a moderate bump - with the coils only an 1/8 to a 1/4 inch apart this thing will feel like it has no springs at all. You'll notice my camera/phone is right up against the upper control arm so it's only 2-3 inches away from the spring.

Good pictures Bob.
Our two and a half year old H/D OME front coils look like that right now!
The only thing keeping them from binding on large undulations are the Teraflex bump stops.
Mind you when I pull the winch and winch mount they are much better and our KJ jumps up and
has allot more lift.
I will be getting some OME 790's soon...
