Hey hive mind.
I have an ongoing issue with only the Traction Control Light coming on and triggering codes C1219, C1240 and C123F, all steering angle sensor codes. I replaced the clockspring several months ago when the airbag light came on and that solved the airbag code. Since then though all these SAS codes are being triggered, not one SAS code before the clockspring was done. I have checked with my local Jeep mob here in Australia and I have the right clockspring installed which I bought from the USA and it is genuine Mopar. I have also had a SAS calibration done which got rid of the C1240 code for a couple of weeks but it is back again. I have also checked the SAS angles using live data on Jscan and that's all working as it should. It might be a bad ABS module but no ABS codes or ABS light are being triggered and it's a very expensive item to fit in the hope it will work. One weird thing the car is doing is the ABS on the front are kicking in sometimes by themselves and only on the front while driving in a straight line and a couple of times it has happened while driving on the highway which was not fun. The wheel speed sensors have been replaced recently but with aftermarket one's but it made no difference anyway and no speed sensor codes have come up either. Any insight's would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
