Suspension, Front and Strut Parts Question

Suspension, Front and Strut Figure 002-110 item #25

52128 532AA Mount, Shock Upper ... RIGHT
52128 533AA Mount, Shock Upper ... LEFT

These parts are integral to the coil over assembly. I figured the assemblies were interchangeable but apparently the top plates(?) are different.

Does anyone know what the actual physical difference is between a right and left coil over assembly? ... and/or why they aren't interchangeable? Thanks !!!
