Despite my smarty-parts remark yesterday, I did take a serious look.

I would be willing to help anyone that would be willing to take a drive to Jersey for a weekend...
I actually looked it up. I haven't been to New Jersey in years. (Cape May a few times and stationed at Red Bank when I was in the Navy.) It would be fun.

Seven hours each way, assuming no pit stops. That would be tough.

And I wasn't kidding about funding a trip to Ohio. I have 8 vacation days left to use somehow!!!

I got the bushings on here, but are these actually the right socks? I looked on jba but couldn't confirm a part #? Also, would using the ones for a 4 inch lift add any stiffness to the ride?

If going over 2.5" of lift you need the 4" rear shocks
They shouldn't add stiffness just because they're longer
And if you're putting 2 iso's then you will be very forked looking with only 2 ring clevis
You should do 1/4" top plate and then add 2 ring clevis up front so you sit level
Oh and if going to 3 1/2" of lift you need UCAs as well or you'll be replacing them often and more than likely not have very good alignment specs
I'm currently sitting at 3 1/4" and I would not strain my UCAs any more by going higher
But, my shop was able to get my alignment to exact spec so every KJ is different

So I'll have to see if I can find the 4" ones on amazon. You don't happen to know the part# do you?

Also, by x2 I meant total. I was only going to go one Iso on each side. With the 2 clevis rings up front. Does that seem like it would be more level?
Hopefully be able to get a decent alignment spec off that.

I do not know the part # but they do have them on JBA
If doing one rear iso per side then 3 ring clevis up front will sit you level
That's what I run currently and I'm at 22 1/4" (3 1/4" of lift) on all 4 sides
2 ring clevis per side would sit you at 22" up front
You should be able to get alignment into spec as I did, but it depends on the shop

Good deal man, thanks for the tips. Much appreciated:happy107:

Gonna place orders today, then it's just a matter of finding a way to get them on the jeep.

Yeah right!
I'm not even touching mine again until my rear shocks go out and that's all I'll do
No way I'm installing another lift

Really, I enjoy the heck out of installing lifts on KJs
so darn easy to do, well compared to some others I have done over the last 40 years :happy175:
