****** swap

Hey so we are doing a ****** swap in my 2003 Jeep Liberty sport, one of the bolts won't line up. I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever done this to there's before? Please help!

I just did mine a few weeks ago. My jeep has the 45rfe. I jacked the trans and lowered the engine down to it. The trans went in without a problem the transfer case was the problem. All my bolts lined up though threaded in by hand then torqued down with a box wrench or a ratchet.

The bolts have to line up. 03 KJ's had 2 different trannys depending when they were built. Your 03 could have either the 42rle or the 45rfe. Which does yours have? Earlier build dates had the 45rfe.
