Tailgate handle question/part number

So yesterday I went to open my tailgate and I hear a pop and the handle pulls out...not in the sense that it is not attached but as it normally would but without any resistance. I took it all apart today and saw that there is a...counter weight that the door release hooks too. It is made of that cheap crappy pot metal. One of the arms on it broke off. I have it Jerry rigged right now with a zip tie but would like to replace it with something more permanent. Does anyone have the part number for it or the whole handle if you have to buy that too? I looked online and could not find anything as of yet.

Anyone? I have looked at a few schematics and it is not on any of them...go figure lol. It is made of pot metal...runs parallel to the tailgate handle and has two...arms that point down. One goes into the handle and the other is more of a stopper from what I can tell. I would hate to have to fabricate one but might this weekend if need be.

This is the only part number I could find: 55360641AA LATCH, Tailgate. For Libby's built after 10/11/02.
