I have been an Internet forum user for perhaps 10 years. I moderate on two different forums focused on model railroading. I found the Jeep KJ County Forum last Fall as I was trying to decide to buy the Liberty or some other compact SUV. It was a great help then and has continued to be.

I recently posted my non-Jeep question here and also on a Mopar Mini Van site. I had not intended on posting it here but there seem to be several Mopar enthusiasts and mechanics here so what could it hurt.

I got burned on the Mopar Mini Van site, one person with an attitude responding, not to answer my question but to tell me I wasn't supplying enough information and to basically tell me I was stupid. ](*,) I didn't need the last advice as I was already pretty aware of that! By contrast I got some better advice here.

The Forums that I frequent are characterized by folks that help and only offer constructive criticism. They are characterized by people that can poke fun at one another without abuse, and they are fun places to hang out. Jeep KJ Country passes all of the tests. Thanks!!! =D> =D> =D>

Oh, forgot to mention GO ZAGS!!!!!

Dave, we are all glad that you've found JeepKJ.com helpful!

A number of us are "refugees" from JeepsUnlimited, were personal attacks are real common... especially on Liberty owners. So we won't stand for abuse here, and try and keep things on the light side.

(Cheers)

I would also like to thank everyone on this board for making this a friendly and helpfull place free of bashing. I mean we're driving jeeps too. I also would not bash anyone elce for the type of jeep they drive. I like them all. People have different needs and buy different jeeps. Sometimes you need more towing capacity or a bigger back seat or something and a wrangler won't do. Doesn't mean I don't like them or wouldn't want to have one. Bashing serves no useful purpose.

Thanks again

Dave

I have to say that a KJ is a lot more practical then a TJ for day to day life. The a KJ is just as much of a Jeep.

Grogiefrog....You should know since you have both.....and if you think about it, DC sells a lot more kj's than tj's. Now DC is coming out with the Patriot and Compass, along with the new Dodge offerings. They need to do this to market to the largest audience possible to survive. I hope they sell a lot of everything and that way the jeep brand will stay alive. After all most people that go off road (around here anyway) slide off off of it and into a ditch during a snow storm. (i notice the're not driving jeeps)

Sorry, didn't mean to start a rant or hijack the post.

Dave, I've always said the same thing. The more Jeeps sold, the better. It spreads out their manufacturing and marketings costs, and keeps them in business.

Flaming!

I have noticed on other forums that usally the people who flame almost never add anything constructive to any discussion. Their only passion is to flame. My belief is if a post upsets you just dont respond to it. Plain and simple!

Yeah these people are an awesome bunch. I had used other jeep forums for my TJ but only for a few things but never registered cause I could tell that my stock TJ wasn't going to impress/cut it for the people on them. I'll have to let the guy at the dealer know that this site was possibly a good percent of the reason I got a KJ and that Jeep should support this place for the sales it generates. vertel.gif

My reputation points on JU is like -267 with some nasty comments, after I tried to defend the KJ, in the KJ forum. And it would be worse then that until I got a mod there to suspend my points. I haven't been back there in sometime, lol.
