For a year I've been trying to figure out where the exhaust pop pop sound was coming from...
Thanks to mother nature..at almost freezing temps, I fired it up, to warm for about 15 minutes last night, and then I noticed an 8" round puddle of clear water below the Jeep...Drip Drip..
I was surprised to see the water leaking possibly from the muffler seam/ cat side. No steam, or air leaking out that I could feel, strange.
Will fire it up again in the AM and have a better look, with some current photos.
The pic below is 3 years old, I think this is where it may be leaking from....

I laughed when I saw the water coming out, at least the water is not pooling/ rotting inside muffler currently LOL !
Really don't feel it's bad enough quite yet, to replace the muffler.
Maybe grind it and throw a weld on there to extend the poor thing?
Any ideas appreciated...:help:

Isn't there a weep hole on the front of the muffler?

Mufflers have to have weep holes to allow condensation to get out somewhere, unless its an inch round, no worries

Tailpipe side does not seem to have one. Maybe drill one there too?
