...When your an Impulsive, and over excited 18 year old with a wrench, and half a day, and not enough brain cells to think of a game plan. Oh and not to mention half the world going against you trying to get your strut assembled at pepboys... thats better

Well not thinking i decided to start my lift today.. What a mistake. Live and learn i guess. Got the Old struts out, but by the time i made it over to pepboys, the Damn mechanic went home!!!!!! So i have my liberty Blocking my dads roadster in the garage, and taking up the entire drive way, and parts all over the garage!!! FUN TIMES!

I would suggest investing in a set of spring compressors, they work wonders.

No point if you have an advance nearby. They will let you borrow almost any tool you could need for just a deposit.

Be very careful driving that because with just the front lifted you might have redistributed your weight a little. Could affect steering - braking etc like when you're towing and have too much toungue weight. Get the back done asap as you said. I'm not an engineer so I'm just guessing.

I do, I'd just rather own my own things...

I'd rather have someone else let a spring go. However, taking the springs directly to AutoZone or Murrays will allow them to change out the struts in house. They have a sweet machine system that securely compresses the springs, pops the struts out, and decompresses the springs with the new struts. $30 bucks later, 15 minutes, and everything was done.
