Alright, I already know the usual causes of tire cupping- worn suspension, underinflation, wheels out of balance, etc...
The driver's side inside is the worst and the passenger side outside (both pointing to the right side) is starting to cup. Tie rods and ball joints seen to be fine and there's no pulling to either side. Anyone seen this before (cupping on both fronts on the right hand side...) and what's the most likely culprit?
2003 Lib with Bridgestone Dueler APT's if it makes any diff. TIA :)

multiple choice:
A) worn suspension
B) worn ball joint
C) alignment
D) all of the above

Yeah, I guess that I already know that but was wondering if both tires cupping on one side seem to indicate anything in particular?

Thanks, good advice. We're taking it in tomorrow for the alignment. I've set alignment before (toe-in...) but only with a solid axle. Don't know where to begin with IFS.

Problem solved... I hope! Toe in was way off, though caster and camber within range. Our shop thought that it was just lack of rotation that was causing the cupping. My bad... Struts, ball joints, tie rods all check out fine. It was nearly time for new tires in any case so we replaced the old Bridgestones with new Firestone Destination A/T's.

I have had tire cupping as well with our M/T R's
My own stupid fault...
Not enough, then too much tyre pressure...
Finding the right psi for the road, off road has been a learning experience
for us.
Next set of tyres will probably get F:favorites68:ed up as well playing with the tyre presure.
Whatever, You will never hear me complain about spending money on Jeep shit!

Oh well, that is how you learn.

And no, I an not wealthy...
I just don't give a flying Flying F:favorites68:ck at a rolling doughnut!
It's only money.
If I am lucky, I'll live to be 75 maybe 85 years old.

This is the first time in 20+ years that I have gone into debt for a project!
