I have Al's Gen 3.5 A arms and noticed today that my 255/70/16's are rubbing on them at full lock. Anyone else have this problem?

He will still get rub with OEM rims and 255's,no way around that unless you use spacers or get new rims to reduce the back spacing from 5.5" to at least 4"-4.5".just upgrade to the gen 4.5s. they are way better anyway.
instead of spending the money for spacers, spend a little more and just get a set of cregar soft 8 rims, they should solve that rubbing problem ($268 for a set of 4 shipped)
Is that for 16's? if so where?
Try Summit Racing....
15"--- $39.95
16"---$ 59.95

Not trying Thread Hijack but the cregar soft 8 rims, if I have stock rims with 245/75/16...what size rims would I need?
Thanks
To save even more $$$ go to a Discount Tires and get the Unique Steel series 297(the exact same as Crager soft 8's,Unique Steel makes both),there about $10 cheaper each.

That may be true but I suggested that because the 4.5's really improved things for me and they do seem to give more tire clearance. JBA has an upgrade program that the OP could also take advantage of. But if he doesn't have spring contact with his 3.5's like I did then maybe rims is all he needs.
If you want to run the same tires as your running (assuming just swapping rims) you'll want 16x7 with th 5x4.5 bolt pattern. I guess you can run 16x8 but as posted above... I just don't know about that.
will red loctite solve the problem?
