Why not go for a Toyo Open Country A/T or a Yoko Geolander then? They both have great reviews and most likely have similar characteristics to that tire.

TireRack.com, get the Kumho's that you wanted in the first place shipped to your door with a smile from the UPS guy who has probably never handled tires wrapped in shrink wrap before. Mine was surprised... lol

Best price you will find on them even with shipping.

In all seriousness...the Mastercrafts are not Cooper's best OEM'd tires.

This is what I got. Got them at a local county mom and pop place where they treat you right and provide good service oh and the price was better than what I was going to pay at tire rack to have those Khumo's shipped then have someone mount them.

If you can't afford 5 at once get 4 now and when its time to rotate them the first time buy the 5th and have it rotated in.

There was a guy at Hollister hills 2 weeks ago with an old willys with those thin tires and he was just going through every bit of mud with what appeared to be no wheelspin. Stupid thin tires cutting through the mud and actually gripping rocks and crap :p

mag, I have nothing to contribute to your search for tires. I am on a steep learning curve with suv tires as I am used to high performance street tires.

if they made those in a 235 70 16.. I would lol- I don't give a damn how loud or fast they wear.. its not a speed machine anyways, so to hell with the handling- I would absolutely destroy my cousins front yard with those.

how about the Cooper Discoverer ATR, just got these on my rig, look nice and clean. specially when the road salt makes the rubber contacting the pavement white, and the treads are black, it looks really good and aggressive. They work wonders in the snow :( cant even power slide around a corner because they grip too much. As for on the trail, well theyre just fine they will take where u need to go

Cooper Discoverers are pretty good, thats what the Chevy Express 3500 has at the store... The one i drive year long ... Those are commercial tires and they do the job right ! Never got them offroad since its a RWD only and, well, its a delivery van so .... They are pretty long lasting too and are reasonably priced ...

Looks like a good AT tire to me. If you aren't working you get h\what you can.
I'm leaning toward a set of these because they come with lifetime balance, road hazard and tread wear warantees. They are made by Goodyear.

Well the kumhos ain't going to get ordered so im looking else where(dude was being a dick head) so i found these master crafts so what do yall think http://www.tireteam.com/Tires/Mastercraft/Courser+MSR/2356517/03793.html

Good Morning!

I was bored and couldn't sleep,so I looked up some tires on Tire Rack in the 235-65-17 size you have listed in your signature!
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/CompareTires.jsp

I didn't look at the prices, but some might be of interest to you!

I'm actually surprised at the selection for a 17 inch wheel!

Cheers
Ry'

Oh, the first tire on the comparison I added, I did so as a joke!:D,
and so other KJ owners who had that crap can compare them against
the other makes and models I chose for the hell of it!

BTW, this post will probably get moved to the tire section!;)
