Too much $$$?

Ok... so i'm thinking about picking up a rebuilt jeep wrangler. It has a rebuilt (not junk or salvage) title and they want $6,000 for it.

Here's the specs:

- rebuilt at 1,200 miles (wrecked brand new practically)
- has 65K miles on it
- sport edition
- 6 cyl
- new top (sail cloth???)
- 5spd
- cd player

Its green and in great shape. They had it for their daughter at college and she wants an automatic now. The wife said they have had it for 5 years and never had it in the shop. Is it worth the price?

I'd say it's a good deal. In 2006 my buddy picked up a '99 2.5L stick in good shape with 130k miles for $5200, and that was a decent deal at the time.

I'd do a carfax and see if you can get the service history pulled at a dealer. That'll tell you what's been done.
