Torque coverter is on the down hill slide, it's having locking and unlocking issues between 30 and 45 mph, so I'm looking at replacing it. Any brand I should avoid?

If you want a high end brand and quality I would go with ATS. I have been eyeing there torque converters and transmission ever since I started having problems with my transmission.

Really don't want to drop 300 plus on a torque converter. Because one I fix it we are selling it. We need more room. The jeep liberty is defiantly not a family suv. Lol
