The old saying goes. The best oil additive is fresh oil, so i would say the best ****** additive if any is fresh ****** fluid. IMO

I would be veeeeery hesitant. Most of those transmission additives don't help - read online. Lots of occurances where people put them in, trans runs great for 10k miles, then utter destruction. Was it a worn trans that went, or did the additive shorten the life? Who knows.

From past experience with older Mopar's ('91 Dodge Daytona, '94 Dodge Spirit) the A604 Auto was extremely picky about fluid and being clean. I've heard that their other elecronic transmissions of that era are the same way. Not sure if the KJ transmission is the same. I'd really research before dumping anything in mine, especially if it's working and working normally.

At 45k, the Libby is still a pup in my book.

It seems like the 42rle is peaky about wanting ATF+4. I dumped alittle power steering fluid in mine on accident and its been fine. It wasnt more than a 1/4 cup so Im not worried about it at all. That was a few thousand ago. :p
