Jesse, it doesn't say anything in my Haynes manual besides just bolting it.

And from that YT vid I posted, doesn't look like there was RTV.

Not sure but I'm sure you'll see something once you remove the TF case.

I want to watch that video in slow mo as i am doing the swap. I am going down to Kankakee to pick up my reman'd trans this Monday. Suspense is building. if my kj wasnt in such great shape i wouldnt even think about doin this. Thanks for all the help any other info i may or may not need just lemme know.

Got 2 cans of kooler clean. Pulled both drive shafts out the trans support the exhaust and real close to pulling transfer case.

Free 1 year warranty past that they wanted to charge for a 2 or 3 year warranty.

Got the transfer case out last night i had drained as much as i could but it still dropped a quartor two all over the floor.

My father in law had a 200lb ****** fall on his pinky. Good thing he had some dirty rags underneath it. Not as funny as the jokes above because it really happened. He is ok just a lil purple. I slipped off a slip nut on a condensing water line at work sliced my finger open real good. I dont know if you guys wanna see it huge flap of skin looks like trumps hair. Sorry got off on a tangent there. Old trans is out cleaned the trans cooler lines. That really helped clean my skin flap out. Put all the sensors on and cooling line reducing bushings.

The new trans came with the updated solenoid pack and another sensor i believe is a transducer its located on the passenger side of the trans. The two speed in/out sensors are being reused.
