i turn on the lights. and the light on the dash for the left turn comes on slowly then stays on.

as far as i can tell all bulbs are either functioning or replaced

ideas?

edit:

i should point out that turns flash hazards flash nothing is brighter than anything else etc etc.. its functioning... but... the light on the dash is always on..

So when you put the stalk into the left down position, the lights flash.
If you push lightly down or jiggle the left does the dash indicator brightness change?
Starting to sound like the multifunction turn signal stalk may also be the culprit.
When I have my fogs on, every time the signal cancels, the fog light blink.
Cheap plastic crap that they charge you big time for.

Sounds like a bad cluster.
What he said.
Mine do this too. It was really starting to annoy me but I've come to live with it :disgust:

My sister's has been doing this for who knows how long now. It's definitely the Multifunction switch. She doesn't even notice it but I do.

This situation is usually caused by a bad ground in one of the lights that uses both turn and park light (front maybe?) the individual light can't get a good ground anymore and finds it's path through the turn indicator circuit... basicly the turn indicator in cluster is on the ground side of the light that is using it as a ground, that's why it is dim. do you guys by any chance have a trailer wiring harness? if so, check to see if it's grounded properly, might be coroding

could be a bad ground. also pull the plug, make sure the bulb and connector are clean and reinstall with some dielectric grease.
