Need U joints. Spicer or Precision/Napa?

Is the Spicer PN SPI-5-1310X? Precision is 369? Both joints on the rear DS are the same right?

Thanks!

Spicer is the best! The reason why I say that spicer is the best is due to the fact that Dana manufactured the axles and driveshafts on our liberties and spicer is owned by dana corp.

Maybe they are being made in china, but I would still look into using spicer or dana parts. Here is a link to the manual with all the spicer and dana parts for our libertys type page 258 into the navigation at the top of the page.

you can also use this link to find the new dana part number.

I ran the NAPA greaseable ones on the 04, had over 140,000 miles on them when I stopped driving it

Called around and couldn't get the Spicer ones until tomorrow, wanted them today so I can drop off the driveshaft in the morning to the regular guy I take shit to. Found a local driveshaft shop that didn't carry Spicer any more due to them being imported, but carries Neapco and said they're better than Spicers. He had the ones in stock, $8 each and USA made. Spicers were $27 each. Precision were $15 each.

I bought the federal mogul precision super strenght ujoints , had a no zerk just a screw you would take out in the cap. didn't really take grease with the needle fitting that great. were part #270's.

I also had a driveline vib but i'm willing to say that it wasn't the ujoints.

put greasable spicers in and balanced was great though does require your ujoint be in that one exact spot to grease it as grease zerk is in cross on body.

I buy either GMB or Precision(Moog) from rockauto. Always greasable. Decent service life from either, IMO.

Did you re-grease them regularly or did they go 140,000 on the original grease?

I religiously grease everything with each oil change, ( 3500 miles or so )
They would never go 140,000 without greasing them. Heck the original ones only lasted 55,000 miles LOL
