Good-day to All :),

I Need your assistance in this please; I have the RRO upper control arms on my Kj and have just received the ordered Al’s UBJ’s in replacement of Moog UBJ’s.

The issue as you can see from the 2 pictures attached is that the Moog UBJ is sitting properly on the arm but Al’s UBJ will not sit flat attached to the arm.

Do I need to use a UBJ pressing tool to force it down or is it normal for Al’s UBJ’s to sit like that

Many thanks.

If those are RRO a arms, you need to bolt the ball joint done. Also, looking at this picture, http://www.rocky-road.com/media/insane_arm.jpg

There is some space from the ball joint plate and the arm. Why did you replace the ball joints in the new arms?

Actually there is no space between the BJ plate and the arm, it’s flat on. The space that you see is between the BJ plate and the metal bump stop and that is normal.

My question still stands, can I use a BJ pressing tool to force the UBJ down to its flat normal position or will I be breaking something kopkrab.gif
