We already have one designed, and it is out at the manufacturing facility for quoting and production scheduling.

Hi

Does anyone know anything about the uconnect system for the liberty

I've been looking for a decent Blue-Tooth solution for my Libby since I got it. The U-Connect will only mute the vehicle audio when you receive a call; it has it's own mic and speaker for phone usage.

I can send you the installation instructions for it if you want; it shows the components and how they interact with the vehicle audio.

Umm, MPSC is Mopar Super Center, as in Hendrick Chrysler Jeep in Charleston, SC. Trust me, they are not looking for installation instructions for the ACCESSORY UConnect. They are putting together the package to add FaCTORY UConnect, REAL UConnect, after purchase. They're the experts, they didn't need help like that ;)

When I said Jet Harness, I am referring to a custom made wiring harness to run inside the dash connecting all the components for FACTORY UConnect. It CAN be added to a Chrysler vehicle despite everything Chrysler and anyone may say, as was discovered, designed, proven by a guy named Jaak for the Magnums and Chargers. MPSC is the retail outlet for the Jet Harness, only available for the Magnum/Charger/300C right now since we came up with the way to add factory UConnect to cars, and have been adding this mod to our cars. I put it in mine for under $400 in parts. So when I saw Joel pop up in here asking about radio connectors, I knew what was up. MPSC knows everything about every Mopar and will find it out if they don't. Ted, Jeff (and Joel now) are awesome help with everything. So now it looks like I will be adding UConnect to the Liberty, too :)

Next hack we came up with for the Chargers is installing MyGiG...I have mine on order and we are working on a couple wiring kinks, but it has been installed on a couple test vehicles and worked :)

I have the uconnect option on my 06 limited. Works great, mutes the radio when both receiving and placing calls. Radio display shows incoming call on panel. Activates via a button on the rear view mirror and connects to your phone as a blue tooth device.

The mirror is not the uconnect. Buying it will do nothing for you. UConnect is a computer mounted in the car, connected to the radio to broadcast itself, and then you run a couple wires to the mirror for the microphone. Easier said than done...so again, look at the link I posted. It is how it is hooked up in my Charger, but the same principle as the Liberty. Won't be possible until the connectors for the Liberty radio are found and an entire harness is built. Hence MPSC being in here lurking and they said they have apparently already sent schematics off for production.
