Did anyone ever come out with a blueprint / draft for a front skid that goes between the rad support and the tongue of the engine skid? I know some aftermarket skids have that as an optional component but I have mopar skids and would like a way to make a diamond plate or road sign skid to keep mud and junk out from under there

Pretty simple really I mean most just bolt under the radiator support down to the front skid, no real blueprint needed.
The first one I made years ago I just measured, bend over a extra gas cylinder , and drilled/ bolted on

I have some old pictures if you need to see them somewhere

Just don't get caught when you're on the side of the road "acquiring" the road sign!

OK bad pics but you get the idea
My first design ran front skid to the radiator support
Straight up basically, first set of rock steps I pulled up to I bent it
Next design was the one shown, and took it all the way up to the ARB
Rounded it so that tires would hit first instead of the " skid"
Nothin' fancy just a hillhippy Redneck design with what I had at the time back in late 2005 I think it was

Makes me want to get one of those Matrix guards now... Did you run around like that in the winter months? Snow or elements cause any adverse effect? Or how did you keep things from being exposed?

She ran around like that 12 months of the year, never had any issues at all . Busted through snow drifts and whatever was stuck in them. Ran through creeks up over the bumper, never hurt a thing:icon_lol:

Thanks for the pics, gonna go with a solid solution to keep mud and stuff out, hopefully the backbone thing reinforces that area a bit
