Using more fuel than usual

Hi guys!!
I have a 2.8 crd diesel
Appear to be using more fuel than normal, I’ve done oil change air filter etc but still having the issue! Only thing I notice is the engine hardly ever comes up to temperature, could the thermostat be causing more fuel use?
Anything else I can check too?

Yes, they don't like running cold.
When you replace it ensure you only use HOAT antifreeze, other antifreeze isn't compatible with it and the CRD needs it to protect the liners. Other than that I put a list on your last post about MPG.
