Is it possible to remove the antenna that’s on my 02 and replace it with a hidden one? Not a fan of the oem antenna and base. If possible what shall I use to cover or plug the hole?

That side marker is more than likely your only option if you don’t want the base either
I took my stock antenna, popped the ball off the top, cut it to length and super glued it back on
Painted it black and it looks 100x better IMO
Looks new after about 4 years now

never even notice mine , non issue

the one on my 02 never bothered me but when I got the 05 it was bent badly so I swapped it out. I did get it straightened out pretty well but I really like this small one now.

The OEM whip is what I call a tall, arm pit hanger.
Every time you tried to clean the window or ice scrape, it was in the way.
I also bought an aftermarket antennax, flexible shortie.

Considering the fender location is it not very difficult to remove the antenna base from interior?
