Welds on OEM KJ wheels?

I need a second set of rims for my KJ and opted for used wheels.
I am being offered a set of the stock 16" alloy rims, however on 3 of the wheels there are welds

The seller claims these were factory welds, however until now I have seen no such thing on an alloy wheel.

Has anyone seen welds on Jeep OEM wheels?

Cheesy MIG welds on Alloy wheels don't look OEM to me! They are cast in one piece, I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.

It looks like the welded wheels were made to be assembled of 2 parts.

This is how the wheel cover of a welded wheel looks from inside.

It is marked with the Chrysler logo and the correct wheel parameters

The wheel without the welds is different:

The rim is cast as a single piece

Reminds me of "the good old days" of banded steel wheels. KJ wheels are cheap & plentiful, wait for some decent ones to turn up.
