what oil grade do i need for a truetrac

Hello

Just added a detroit truetrac on the front D30. Any idea what oil grade goes in there?

Whatever is called for that particular differential, the gear oil's main purpose to lube the gears. See if DTT calls for additive. Some gear oils come with it already (RP, Mobil1).

GL5 spec-85w-140 for good heat control. All Posi's/ lockers -need the 4 oz bottle of Limited Slip additive.

many still run 80w90 with good success if your as cold as I am and want your diff to turn in the morning when its -30 or colder.

Based on my limited knowledge of Israel, I'm going to guess hot and 85w140 works just fine.

I have been using up the last of the 75w-140 synthetic fluid i have on hand. Do not use any lsd additive or friction modifier, eaton says not to use it in True Tracs.
