What is the stock backspacing on the stock wheels for the liberty? Also if anyone has tried to fit stock wheels from a liberty onto a XJ I'd like that input as well, I'm trying to figure out if I'll be able to salvage my newish tires from the liberty and put them onto my next rig(most likely XJ) without worrying about backspacing, From what i've found xj's have 5.25 backspacing with 15x7 rim, I'm wondering how would the liberty's backspacing and 16x___ rim compare, I only know rim size for liberties, unsure about width and backspacing.

This is the new jeep, the rims it has on suck and the tires aren't verry aggressive trim, the difference would be going from a 29 inch to 31 inch, so not without a lift, but I'm mostly worried about the backspacing and if the wheels will be pushed in or out compared to the stock 5.25 inch backspacing(renegade trim alloy wheels is what I'm trying to find measurements for)

You must be registered for see images attach

here is the comparison between the tires, My worry is that if the backspacing pushes it in, the tires from the kj will be too wide to fit or rub alot when turning

Inset is easy to deal with, especially if your school has a lathe, a set of spacers will put them back in line. (Forgot to say, check stud length is still acceptable! Might need longer ones)
The XJ should be ET25, if I remember you fitted non standard wheels to your KJ so you need to look up the ET number for them to see where they will sit.
