Ok, I'm looking at lifting my 04. Which lift kit (spacer or spring replacement) is better in your opinion and why?

Spanx for the input in advance!!:D

Check out the "Lifts" subforum in here. There's no correct answer. Frankenlift seems to be the top-of-the-line in most people's opinion, but that doesn't necessarily mean "best".

Search through some existing threads and see what will fit your needs. Currently, the "best" kit for me is a Rusty's Off-Road .75" front spacer with extra rear isolators. Got me the look and clearance I wanted for $75. Would I love a frankenlift? Sure! Would I pay for it? No, not worth at at this time.

When I get new shocks, I'll probably get the OME springs at the same time. I have 29k on it now.

suspension b/c it will give you a better ride since it replaces the OEM coils and the best of the best for suspension lifts for the KJ is OME HD, 927 for the front and 948 for the rear.

Old Man Emu. Seriously. Just do it. Don't make me page Reverend Tom. :D:D

:confused:someone summon me?

heres the short version of my Daily Sermon:eek:
stock springs start to lose and sag at 20,000 (or less really) , so if you have say 50,000 on it, and then add a spacer type lift it will speed the process up even more. Most everyone unless they are in denial will sooner or later realize that a full spring replacement is the best way to go, better ride, handeling , long term over all just better
For 650 or so you can OME springs and Rancho shocks and then go up from there on price.
NO MATTER if you go off road 1 day a year or 364 an upgraded spring lift is way better in the long run.
If you want more info its on here and LOSTKJs
