Alright, looking into gettin new shocks for the Liberty. I've pretty much decided on Ranchos, it's just a matter of which ones. I'm trying to decide between the RS5000s or the RSX17000s. Anyone have any input to either way. Not too worried about the price diffence, cuz theres only $10 between them.

Rancho 5000s are very stiff. I had them on my old XJ and they where on my CJ when I bought it. I didn't like them at all. The RSX ride better, but not great, especially since the RSX17004 are not valved for the KJ.

The OME shocks ride the best and only about 10 more than the RSXs. If I was going to get new shocks I would definitely go with the OME N132L's. I had the original OME N132, but there where only 1/2" longer than stock so I swapped them out for the RSX17004s, which are about 2-2.5" longer than stock. Didn't ride as nice but gave me more flex. Now OME has the N132Ls, same valving as the original OMEs, but just as long as the RSX17004.

You could always look into their adjustable model. The model number escapes me at the moment, but I had them on my Explorer, they were 9 way adjustable, I really like them, but pricier than their standard stuff.

Yeah, those were $90 a piece for the RS9000s. And doesnt it have to be lifted for the OMEs?
