I'm getting the day star kit and i want to know if one of these cheaper compressor tools will work.

I would suggest just going to AutoZone and taking advantage of their free loan-a-tool service. That is what I did. $50 deposit returned to as soon as you bring them back. My loaners were brand new in the plastic still. Some other auto parts stores have similar loaner or tool rentals.

Or just take the front assemblies to a local shop and have them do it for you for $10-$20 each.

I would recomomend Auto Zone as well. I bought a semi-cheap set when i did my DayStar lift and although they worked they got all bent up so they ended up being a one time use tool that cost me $40.

I use the rent-a-tool program at Advanced Auto works the same as Autozone. Used 2 sets just to be safe!
