Im not sure how you adjust them.

I know I can adjust the sprayer on the corolla with a pen. Haha, I can make it so it hits the car behind me! Makes for laughs at redlights.

blake, I am sure you would also love to have someone spray on your newly washed jeep... and those things leave stain.
If you really hate them, adjust the rear sprayer. :D

How does one adjust the window washer sprayer?
I tried using a pin like you would on lots of other cars, but on the Liberty it just don't seem to work!

The FSM for the '05 claims that the nozzles (both front and rear) “cannot be adjusted or repaired.” While it's true that every FSM that I've consulted on this matter has claimed the same thing (that is, just the FSM for the '05 KJ), the picture makes it look like its molded from solid plastic.

P.S.: I added that response not having looked at the sticky threads in ages — I hope merely reading from an FSM isn't afoul of the rules as well.

You know that .01% of the population is like me. I did have someone spit out of their window which proceeded to land on my windshield coming back to school. Its a good thing Im not a violent person or they would of died.

It started to rain right after that so its ok. Im pretty sure that was the first time in over 3 months since I had driven it in the rain.

Good day,
My idea is this, I use it on my Mini's.
In place of a conventional windscreen washer nozzle, I connected a section of rubber tubing which extends from the vehicles cowel up to the wiper arm.Leaving enough of a loop of washer tubing to allow the wiper arm a full range of movement without stretching the rubber hose.
To this I connected a length of aluminum tubing with the end crimped shut.
The aluminum tubing (Which has the same inside diameter as the rubber tubing ) has small slots (1/64th {or the width of a new hack saw blade} of an inch wide by 1/8 inch long) cut into the tubing every inch along the length.
I then just simply used nylon wire wraps to zap strap it to the wiper blades and rotate the aluminum tubing to aim where I want the washer fluid to spray on the wind screen.
The benefit of this is that if your wiper blades are frozen to the windshield, all you have to do is spray the washer and your wipers are no longer stuck to the glass.
It also sprays the washer fluid evenly across the whole area of the windshield.

The other modification I use is the coil a length of copper piping around a radiator hose, then splice in the washer fluid hose from the windshield washer reservoir and you have instant heated washer fluid.
Works great in the summer as well to get rid of bug guts.

I figure it would cost all of 25 bucks to do this. Thats just a guess mind you, as I have all the materials kicking around from other hobby projects.

The aluminum tubing you can purchase at most good hobby shops.
The rest of the materials is self explanatory as to where to acquire them!

I'll take some pictures of the completed modification which resides on my Mini this weekend so everybody can see what I am babbling about!
I have not done this yet on our KJ due to the fact that my wife uses it to go to and from work all week. That and my body isn't co-operating with me for the last couple of weeks.

Cheers

Ryan
