This is kind of a lot. I drive a 5 speed 04 liberty and she’s live a life. 250k on the odo. trans, radioand cooling setup replaced by previous owner.

So pretty much as I was driving I press the clutch in to go into 1st at the light and I heard and a feel a crunch/snap, at first I thought maybe my clutch setup was in peices but after further review and being able to drive normally, (the clutch pedal setup just feels softer and makes a clunk noise now), looking up the pedals they have been rubbing on a group of wires that seem to have busted. Defenitly have been rubbing on the pedal as wire is exposed (will be first fix) any advice? Thanks. (Aftermarket radios and speakers I beleive this could of been result of unexperienced wiring. (The car will also stay on if I keep the clutch in with the key out, and. windshield wipers will stop during the time the clutch is engaged).

TLDR: after getting on my clutch at a light I heard a snapping noise, car drives fine but clutch feels weird, Wires have been rubbing on clutch pedal too and may have busted. Advice?

Repair and reroute the wires to avoid further damage. Cable ties are my favourite accessory!
Have a good look around the clutch pedal and see if anything has broken, drop the plastic shield under the dash and check the clutch mounts for cracking/missing bolts.
The problem may be at the other end, at 250,000 miles the clutch assembly is going to be worn, including the bearing and finger springs, it's not unknown for the fingers to snap off.
