After making post about noises and so forth on my Liberty it took and dropped a rod a few weeks later. As my Liberty is in perfect shape inside and out I decided to get a engine replacement and I'm rounding up the extra parts needed by the mechanic.

One thing I had trouble finding was a water pump with the fan clutch already installed but AutoZone carried those so I am building my cart of parts with them. What I am not sure about is the wiring set. They have a host of sets listed from MSD mainly with prices going from $50 to over $100. Any suggestions here?

So digging deeper there are no "spark plug wires" but a spark plug coil adapter. Really screwy some auto parts places do list a wire set.

Is there any difference in these coil plugs?

It’s a 3.7L?

There are no spark plug wires. There are coils that directly fit onto the plugs, aka coil on plugs. Never tried any other brand, I have Mopar. And the factory-spec NGK copper core plugs.

Yup no spark plug wires. Also be cautious removing the coils because there is an oring thats very easy to lose.
